A Changing Astrological Landscape

The last few years have brought an unusual concentration of major planetary shifts, and by 2026, we are no longer simply approaching these changes. We are living within them. Pluto first entered Aquarius in March 2023, beginning a long transition involving technology, collective systems, social structures, and our relationship with the future. As I'm writing this article, Jupiter and Pluto are in opposition, After Pluto entered Aquarius, then came another significant series of ingresses.

Neptune entered Aries

Saturn entered Aries

Uranus entered Gemini

Jupiter entered Cancer before moving into Leo in 2026

These transits move in cycles as they unfold, I've noticed history tends to pop up. Transits overlap and interact, creating a much larger astrological picture. Uranus is associated with disruption, innovation, rebellion, and sudden change. Gemini, ruled by Mercury, governs communication, information, education, language, media, transportation, and the ways ideas move between people.

With Uranus now in Gemini, these areas become especially important to watch. Changes in communication, education, transportation, technology, and the way information is created and distributed may become increasingly visible throughout this transit. But there is another reason this transit should come to attention. The historical cycles connected to Uranus in Gemini. Uranus takes approximately 84 years to complete its orbit. The previous Uranus in Gemini cycle occurred from 1941-1949. Now it is up for debate among the astrological community if the chart of our country is correct. I'm looking at historical dates to align these cycles, Research it for yourself and come to your own conclusions. This is the part of what makes astrology is so interesting; observing patterns while continuing to question and explore.

Using the commonly referenced chart the United States is entering its Uranus return cycle. Historically, Uranus cycles are associated with disruption of established structures, demands for independence, technological advancement, and periods when societies begin questioning systems that once seemed permanent.

Cycles tend to repeat; we all see this, it's discussed throughout society. These transits may bring up themes that took place in the past, but they don't have to repeat. Astrological cycles are better understood as recurring themes appearing under entirely different circumstances. This is what makes the current period so interesting astrologically. Pluto is in Aquarius, Uranus is in Gemini, Saturn and Neptune are in Aries. Jupiter is now in Leo.
